Saving your private key is a mandatory requirement, if you lose the passphrase, you will permanently lose access to your account. The Relictum platform will not be able to restore access to your account or return your funds. Only you can control your account and are responsible for the safety of the passphrase.
💁 What do you need to know about the private key?
- When registering an account, you are prompted to save your passphrase and protect your account with a password.
- A private key is intended for one-time use — this means that using the key once causes your private key to deactivate it for future use. Corruption and use during import lead to key deactivation, and in that case, you must export a new private key.
- Store your private key in multiple places like flash drives, paper, etc.
