The blockchain technology has come a long way today. What started as a foundation for virtual currency Bitcoin has now metamorphosed into the next-level distributed ledger technology that can support all kinds of smart contracts, process hundreds of thousands of transactions every second, protect the data from tampering and breaches, and a lot more. That said, one thing that’s really interesting today is the comparison of Relictum Pro, which is a product of blockchain 5.0 with blockchain 4.0.

Relictum Pro Vs Blockchain 4.0

The following are the different features of the two products that can be compared:

Processing Speed

Processing speed refers to the number of transactions that a blockchain-based program can complete in a second. Blockchain 4.0 can handle 1,000 to 900,000 transactions per second. However, Relictum Pro can handle over 1,000,000 transactions per second.

Node Filling Speed

The node filling speed in Blockchain 4.0 is 3 seconds which seems pretty good. However, in Relictum Pro, it ranges from 0.5 seconds to 1 second. It’s important to remember that when

there are millions of nodes in a network, then a difference of only a few seconds adds up and affects the efficiency of the entire network.

Network Framework

Blockchain 4.0 is based on the traditional P2P network in which data is shared between all the nodes with the existing Internet connections. This keeps the system simple but then it also adds a tremendous load on the network that’s already growing at a high rate. Relictum Pro solves this problem by adding virtual nodes to the blockchain network. The transmission lines of these nodes are used exclusively for sharing Relictum Pro data. This removes congestion and boosts the transfer rate.

Block Size

When a large number of transactions are placed in a single block, then it can lead to a drop in data processing speed, data transfer speed, and information searching speed. In the first generation blockchain, i.e. in Bitcoin, the block size was 1 Mb. In Blockchain 4.0, it’s 268 bytes which is a lot better. However, in Relictum Pro, the size is further reduced to just 120 bytes. That’s 8,000 smaller than the one block size of Bitcoin!

Drawing an objective comparison between Relictum Pro and Blockchain 4.0, it’s easy to see that the former has made several improvements over the latter. With the kind of features that are available in Blockchain 5.0 that Relictum Pro leverages, building innovative applications for tomorrow is a lot easier now.
